I am so behind in my blog in that I am still in need of blogging about my trip down to Provo last weekend! So here it is.....after being up in Idaho Falls for 3 weeks, I was in dire need of returning back to good ol' Provo to see my great friends and family. I drove down Friday morning and spent the day with Bethany and Doug.
Bethany needed to catch up on all The Office episodes cause the 5th season was starting this week so we sat around watching all of the second and most of the third season which is just awesome since you all learned of my love for the show in my last post. :) It was so nice to be able to relax after spending the last few weeks trying to get adjusted to my new place and difficult job. That night we went to Chili's with their friend Liz where her husband works as the bartender.
I got a free birthday "Sweet Shot" which was just wonderful. For those of you who haven't ventured over to Chili's yet to taste their sweet shots have really been missing out. They have so many different flavors and it is this shot glass full of heaven. I got the Double Chocolate Fudge Brownie one and it's exactly how it sounds: 410 calories of gobs of fudge sauce with double chocolate brownie inside that is just perfect for those chocoholics out there like me. But it is a huge shot of chocolate, so those of you who can't handle a lot of sweetness, I urge you to stay clear and try one of their other delicious flavors. Anyway, the rest of my trip was full of relaxing, seeing my good friends Joel and Julie and their cute son Damon, I always love seeing them. They have been great friends to me for the past 4 years. Of course I went to Haylee's and got attacked by her dogs Moscow and Chloe (I guess they missed me too :), and there was no way I could leave without making an order of new Scenty's to stock myself of holiday scents! I am so glad I have such a good friend who can help me out with that need. Thanks Haylee! Also, thanks Bethany and Doug for letting me stay at their house and eat your food. I love all of you and don't worry.....I will be back to Provo very soon. :)
