Women's Conference

So it's been about a month since the last time I blogged and I am so sorry to all of my followers. I have been a huge slacker lately. Been really busy, really lazy, and also really boring. Not a whole lot going on that I have wanted to blog about. But last weekend I was able to go down to Provo for Women's Conference with Stephanie and Monica. It was a BLAST! For the 5 years I lived down in Provo, I never went to Women's Conference and I don't know why. It was such a wonderful experience. I learned so much and had lots of fun.
We got to stay in the dorms on campus (Helaman Halls), eat in the Cannon Center, and walk a whole lot. While I was there I had a lot of memories come back to me about when I was living there and going to school. It made me kind of want to be back there, go back to school, but not enough to make it actually happen. :) I love not going to school.
The first night we were there, we went and had dinner at Mimi's Cafe with Doug, Bethany, and Sarah. That was full of good food, good conversation, and good company. After dinner, Sarah, Monica, and I went over to the dollar theater and watched "Bride Wars"! That was such a good movie! Very cute and very funny. It was perfect for a girls night out.
I am not going to go into detail about all the classes I went to, the things I learned, and all that. I could go on and on about that and I don't want to bore you all. It's kind of crazy to see what happens when 18000 women get together. Lots of estrogen. Lots of shopping. Lots of mint brownies. :) The second night I was there I went and met Doug, Bethany, Jill, Katleyn, and Mike at a frozen yogurt place (I can't remember what it's called....Hello Yogurt?), but it was the BEST frozen yogurt I have ever had! I seriously need to open up a place like that here in Idaho Falls. It would be awesome. Afterwards, Sarah met me at the mall and I we did a little shopping. I got a cute outfit for the date I was gonna have the next weekend, and then we went to Wendy's and had a little dinner. I LOVE SARAH!! ;)
The last night I was there, we (me, Sarah, Monica, Beth, and Doug) went to dinner at California Pizza Kitchen (boy do I miss that place!). It's too bad though that I can't branch out from my favorite Hawaiian pizza cause they really do have some good kinds of pizza! HAHA After dinner, Sarah and I spent the night together picking up her new laptop and then watching "Marley and Me" on it! I must say, that movie was pretty long and pretty lame. But there were still some funny parts. ;)
Saturday we got all packed up and checked out of our room, and headed home! It was an eventful weekend and I definitely had many parts of my testimony strengthened, renewed, and grown. I definitely want to go back next year!

Michael Scott: There's a wishing fountain at the mall. And I threw a coin in for every woman in the world and made a wish. I wished for Jan to get over me. I wished for Phyllis, a plasma tv. I wished for Pam to gain courage. I wished for Angela, a heart. And for Kelly, a brain.
