Loving Life

So I am sure you all know that my life right now is filled up with school, work, friends, church, sleeping, eating, and CHRIS. :) They take up ALL my time and keep me very busy. I hope you guys aren't bored yet whenI talk about Chris, but I just wanted to share with you all how GREAT he is! Seriously, he makes me so happy and is always doing things for me. There are many many times where it feels like it's just too good to be true. :) He isn't scared to show his affection for me in front of other people, he is a gentleman and very respectful. He doesn't cease to surprise me, make me feel special, and like him more and more each day. Just a few things he did for me this week was Tuesday, he showed up at my work and surprised me with a Jamba Juice, Wednesday, he rented Toy Story 3 for us to watch cause he remembered me telling him weeks ago that I wanted to see it. Then last night was so much fun....I have to build you up to it though with telling you that before he and I started dating, whenever he would show up to FHE or Sacrament or anything that my ward was doing, ALL the girls flocked to him. He was always surrounded by all the girls. I was never part of that group. I was always on the outskirts doing my own thing. Even though I liked him and wanted to get to know him better, I never tried to get through all those girls. I decided that he would have to make his way to me if anything was ever going to happen. I would say hello and chat with him for a little bit when he came, but then would move on quickly. He has this old Mustang, I want to say it's a '65, but not quite sure, that he would bring to show off.(It looks just like this)

He would take all the girls for rides in it, yet I never got to ride in it. :) So, ever since we started dating, his parents always asked him when he was going to take me out in it, and he always says that it's gotten too cold and wants to keep it in the shop for the winter, so I would have to wait till NEXT SUMMER ! Anyway, yesterday he called and told me he was going to pick me up at 6pm for whatever we were gonna do that night, and I walk outside, and he pulls up in the car! I was so excited! We drove around town for a bit, having lots of people take double takes. But, that car was sweet and we looked pretty dang good in it! :) Anywho, it was an awesome surprise, chris is the best, and I will stop talking now so you guys don't get tired of me going on and on....haha I also gotta get to work. TGIF!

Things I am kind of obsessed with right now...

Okay people, the weather is changing, the leaves are falling, I am pulling out my boots, and I am so happy that I don't even care that it's gonna start snowing soon....what's wrong with me??! haha maybe it's because life is WONDERFUL and I couldn't ask for anything more than what I have right now. :) Awwww okay enough with the mushy stuff....Life is happening and it's happening fast so I wanted to take a second to put down things that I am kind of obsessed with right now. Things that make me smile. Things that get me out of bed everyday. :) (p.s. list is not in any specific order haha)

*Walking to Great Harvest on my break at school to get a hot chocolate and a free slice of pumpkin chocolate chip bread (seriously people, it's kind of getting out of control. I might need someone to restrain me each day!)

*4 wheeler rides with Chris

*Dairy Queen blizzard runs with Chris

*Movie night with Chris

*okay, pretty much ANYTHING I do with Chris :)

*Cinnamon scented candles

*Watching Friends (that NEVER gets old!)

*Everything that I am learning in school (it's so awesome!)

*Knowing that I have Midnight premiere tickets for HARRY POTTER and getting Chris to commit to going with me! I am gonna owe him big time! haha

*Brownies (I make them WAY too much! Good thing I like to bake them and then share them with my friends, cause that would be very bad for me! FYI: brownies and milk is gonna be mine and chris's snack during our movie tonight)

*RASCAL FLATTS NEW SONG!!! You have no idea how stoked I am that they have a new song! Maybe I WILL get to go to one of their concerts! It's on my list! :)

*My amazing mom who does so much for me. I wish there was a way for me to be able to repay her for everything she has done.

*Reading my sister's blog. It makes me smile so much! Even though I am so far away from my family, I love being able to know what's going on with them and watching cute little Ryder get so big!

Happy Halloween!

Hey Guys! I know it's been a while but I NEVER take pictures! haha but last night was the good ol Yount Single Adults halloween activity and dance. My friend Melissa lent me her flapper costume since I am a little low on money this year, but it was PERFECT! :) It was a big hit and had lots of fun. I helped Dain do his makeup, and then us girls had just enough time to put on our costumes and head out! (it took a LONG time to do dains makeup! he is kind of a little diva and likes it just so :)

There were LOTS and LOTS of people there with many activities. Chris was at his grandma's house with his family and wasn't too excited to go to it so I wasn't expecting him to be there at all, but as soon as I got there, guess who surprised me??! CHRIS! :) I was so happy came! I really wanted him to see my costume. yay! So we did a little dancing, ate a little pizza, ran the photo booth, and had a blast seeing all the other costumes that were there. There was lots of craziness but definitely a good halloween!

New Interest

Hey guys! So Beth hassled me a little bit on updating my blog and letting you all know what's been going on in my life lately. So since I have a few extra minutes, I will catch you all up and let you know what my new interest is in my life....:) Back in May, I met this guy named Chris. I thought he was really cute and super nice. We met at FHE and just totally clicked and could talk with ease and laugh a lot together. He was jumping back and forth between singles wards so I would only see him every now and then. We did go to a movie together back in June, but the rest of the summer nothing else really happened. He would invite me to bon fires at his house but they would always be nights when I worked so I wasn't able to go. Then last month when my car was out of commission, I happened to mention it to him so he ended up coming over and fixing my car for me! All he pretty much did was jiggle some wires (something I could have totally done if I would have known!). haha anyway, I invited him to my birthday dinner that was happening that next weekend. The day before my birthday he called me and told me that he wasn't going to be able to make it to my dinner, but he wanted to take me out that night instead to make up for it. So after many calls of finding someone to cover my shift at work, I told him I could go and go we did! It was a very fun night. We went and ate dinner at 5 Guys Burgers and Fries and then went back to his house and watched a movie. Ever since that day, we have talked every day and seen each other ALMOST every day. But he is such a great guy and I have so much fun with him. He makes me feel special and makes me laugh. I enjoy talking with him and just feel comfortable when I am with him. I only have these two pictures of us. I will try to get more!

The first pic is us at a singles dance we had on the river and we were working in the ice cream cart together scooping ice cream for people. The next one is a couple weeks ago, my school put on a hair show at the park for the city that he came and watched! :) But, if you are still reading this, that means you actually care about what I have to say so I guess I could include a few facts about Chris if you would like! He is 26, the oldest of 3 kids. He is a builder for a local cabinet shop and is very talented. He loves 4 wheeling, which we have done A LOT together cause I love it TOO! He has 2 miniature horses that we like to go play with every now and then. He went on a mission to St. Louis, Missouri and he is 6 foot 4 inches! I come up to like his armpit. HAHA So that's Chris and one of the main reasons I have been a little MIA lately, cause he definitely takes up any free time that I am able to squeeze in. :)

That's pretty much it for now. Other than that I am busy with school and work. I am so NOT ready for the cold weather that's coming in either. I do not want it to snow!!

Mrs. Cuyler Meade

Yesterday, Sarah Ann Morin became Sarah Ann Meade! It was a BEAUTIFUL day. Lots of fun. Sarah was a gorgeous bride and I felt so honored to be one of her bridesmaids. I drove into San Jose Thursday afternoon where I met up with Sarah, Cuyler, and two of his groomsmen John and Corey. We went to the reception site and started getting everything ready for the next day. We wrapped lots of silverware, set up lots of tables, framed lots of pictues, and made many centerpieces. Cuyler's parents threw a big dinner at his house fo all the family and wedding party. I got to meet lots of people and eat a bunch of chinese food. :) It was a late night, but we had a great time together. I stayed at a family's house that Cuyler knew with John and Corey. I got up super early so I could have the bathroom to myself before the boys got up and try to make my hair look decent. I tried so many different styles, nothing was working! I finally just pulled it into a low side messy bun (which ended up being how ALL the bridesmaids wore their hair, but we did not plan it! haha). I had a little bit of a problem with my flower falling off of my headband. I had to quickly find some super glue and glue it back on!

We all got ready and drove up to Oakland for the wedding! I hung out in the visitors center and watched all the babies for the siblings in the sealing. We waited, and waited, and waited, and FINALLY they came out of the temple!

They looked so happy and perfect together. We then took a whole lot of pictures! About 2 hours worth! haha It was pretty hot, we all got a little sunburnt, and us girls feet were killing us in our heels :) Those pictures will come later. We were finally able to leave so me, 3 of the groomsmen and one of their wives drove back to San Jose together. We got caught in a whole lot of traffic (dang Califoria!) We stopped at a mall to eat in the food court on the way since we hadnt eaten all day. Once we got into San Jose we got a little lost, couldn't find the reception site, were yelling and arguing with each other (don't worry, we are really good friends now :), and finally had to call Cuyler to come get us and take us to the place. Don't worry, him and Sarah were running late as well.

The reception was BEAUTIFUL and PERFECT. They had yummy food, lots of people, gorgeous view, and lots of fun dancing! Cuyler played the guitar and sang for Sarah, 2 little kids caught the bouquet and garter, we decorated their car real cute, and got them two out of there at a decent hour! It was a bitter sweet moment watching them drive away, but I am so happy for them. Cuyler is so good to Sarah, and they are just perfect together. CONGRATULATIONS SARAH AND CUYLER! :)

Life

Hey there everybody! So I realized that I haven't really talked about my life or what's been going on for a while...But I don't have a computer so it's really hard to keep updated! But I have been given a chance today so I am gonna take it! So....what's been going on you ask?

Well, of course, School is happening right now. It is totally awesome and I love it so much! I feel so happy as I am cutting someone's hair, or helping them decide how they should color it, or learning what items I need to have in my closet at all times are, or painting a little girls nails. It is such a blessing for me to be able to be doing this right now. I have just a little over 600 hours and need 2000 to graduate, so I am moving right along! :) Here is a picture that I have of the model I did last week to make her look like a Pin Up girl. It's not a very good picture though...I should have better ones soon!

Work. I really don't have much to say about that because, well it's just work. I work 5 days a week and go to school 5 days a week so my life is pretty crazy.

My new apartment. I don't know if you all know this, but I moved out into my own apartment! I am living with a girl from school. We have an itty bitty two bedroom, one bathroom apartment that is so little and cute. It's lots of fun! My roommate's name is Heather and she is way cute and we have lots of fun together. Maybe sometime I will get a picture up here of us. Just maybe....;)

I have my good friend Jon who has been an awesome workout buddy! He comes to the gym as soon as I get off around 9pm each night and we workout between 1 to 2 hours together. I need great motivation and he totally makes it happen for me. So, now you are thinking that because we workout 4 days a week that I have turned into this totally skinny hot girl, right? Well, you are wrong. I may workout regularly, which is awesome and totally helps my stress level and helps me feel good, but I LOVE food. I love eating and am a huge emotional eater. I eat when I am sad, when I am bored, when I am happy, when I am socializing. It's just what I do and I wish I could be better and not be like that. But its really hard cause food tastes so good. haha :) So if I could get that under control then we could see some really amazing results!

Nothing else is really going on. Just busy busy! I leave on Wednesday to go to California though! I am so excited! I am flying into Sacramento and then will drive down to the Bay area for Sarah's wedding in Oakland! Its gonna be awesome! I will definitely let you know how it goes!
