Mrs. Cuyler Meade

Yesterday, Sarah Ann Morin became Sarah Ann Meade! It was a BEAUTIFUL day. Lots of fun. Sarah was a gorgeous bride and I felt so honored to be one of her bridesmaids. I drove into San Jose Thursday afternoon where I met up with Sarah, Cuyler, and two of his groomsmen John and Corey. We went to the reception site and started getting everything ready for the next day. We wrapped lots of silverware, set up lots of tables, framed lots of pictues, and made many centerpieces. Cuyler's parents threw a big dinner at his house fo all the family and wedding party. I got to meet lots of people and eat a bunch of chinese food. :) It was a late night, but we had a great time together. I stayed at a family's house that Cuyler knew with John and Corey. I got up super early so I could have the bathroom to myself before the boys got up and try to make my hair look decent. I tried so many different styles, nothing was working! I finally just pulled it into a low side messy bun (which ended up being how ALL the bridesmaids wore their hair, but we did not plan it! haha). I had a little bit of a problem with my flower falling off of my headband. I had to quickly find some super glue and glue it back on!

We all got ready and drove up to Oakland for the wedding! I hung out in the visitors center and watched all the babies for the siblings in the sealing. We waited, and waited, and waited, and FINALLY they came out of the temple!

They looked so happy and perfect together. We then took a whole lot of pictures! About 2 hours worth! haha It was pretty hot, we all got a little sunburnt, and us girls feet were killing us in our heels :) Those pictures will come later. We were finally able to leave so me, 3 of the groomsmen and one of their wives drove back to San Jose together. We got caught in a whole lot of traffic (dang Califoria!) We stopped at a mall to eat in the food court on the way since we hadnt eaten all day. Once we got into San Jose we got a little lost, couldn't find the reception site, were yelling and arguing with each other (don't worry, we are really good friends now :), and finally had to call Cuyler to come get us and take us to the place. Don't worry, him and Sarah were running late as well.

The reception was BEAUTIFUL and PERFECT. They had yummy food, lots of people, gorgeous view, and lots of fun dancing! Cuyler played the guitar and sang for Sarah, 2 little kids caught the bouquet and garter, we decorated their car real cute, and got them two out of there at a decent hour! It was a bitter sweet moment watching them drive away, but I am so happy for them. Cuyler is so good to Sarah, and they are just perfect together. CONGRATULATIONS SARAH AND CUYLER! :)

Life

Hey there everybody! So I realized that I haven't really talked about my life or what's been going on for a while...But I don't have a computer so it's really hard to keep updated! But I have been given a chance today so I am gonna take it! So....what's been going on you ask?

Well, of course, School is happening right now. It is totally awesome and I love it so much! I feel so happy as I am cutting someone's hair, or helping them decide how they should color it, or learning what items I need to have in my closet at all times are, or painting a little girls nails. It is such a blessing for me to be able to be doing this right now. I have just a little over 600 hours and need 2000 to graduate, so I am moving right along! :) Here is a picture that I have of the model I did last week to make her look like a Pin Up girl. It's not a very good picture though...I should have better ones soon!

Work. I really don't have much to say about that because, well it's just work. I work 5 days a week and go to school 5 days a week so my life is pretty crazy.

My new apartment. I don't know if you all know this, but I moved out into my own apartment! I am living with a girl from school. We have an itty bitty two bedroom, one bathroom apartment that is so little and cute. It's lots of fun! My roommate's name is Heather and she is way cute and we have lots of fun together. Maybe sometime I will get a picture up here of us. Just maybe....;)

I have my good friend Jon who has been an awesome workout buddy! He comes to the gym as soon as I get off around 9pm each night and we workout between 1 to 2 hours together. I need great motivation and he totally makes it happen for me. So, now you are thinking that because we workout 4 days a week that I have turned into this totally skinny hot girl, right? Well, you are wrong. I may workout regularly, which is awesome and totally helps my stress level and helps me feel good, but I LOVE food. I love eating and am a huge emotional eater. I eat when I am sad, when I am bored, when I am happy, when I am socializing. It's just what I do and I wish I could be better and not be like that. But its really hard cause food tastes so good. haha :) So if I could get that under control then we could see some really amazing results!

Nothing else is really going on. Just busy busy! I leave on Wednesday to go to California though! I am so excited! I am flying into Sacramento and then will drive down to the Bay area for Sarah's wedding in Oakland! Its gonna be awesome! I will definitely let you know how it goes!

I did a photo shoot this past week at school. We had to pick our own theme, find a model, do their hair and makeup, then take the pictures ourselves. I have a whole lot more, but this is one I took from my phone. When I get others I will post them, but here is just a little taste!

Hair!

I just wanted to show you all what we learned in school yesterday. Crazy updos! It was super fun and I am so excited to learn a whole lot more styles. But my hair was really big and it took a lot of bobbie pins and lots of combing when I tried taking it out last night. It was really cool! :)Other than that, life is good. I have been super busy. I am moving up to the senior class next week which is really crazy but am super excited. It will be good to get more clients and more experience!

My ward went up to Island Park last weekend which was awesome. We had a good steak dinner, played games, had an amazing fireside and stayed up late telling embarrassing stories around the campfire. The next day we ate lots of fritter toast (YUMMY!) and then floated down the river. And NO I did NOT fall out of the raft this time! Haha if I had fallen out, it would have been really sad cause the river was so very slow. :) But I got a good tan and had a blast with my friends.

Its also sad to say that I got a speeding ticket the other night. The Idaho Falls cops have been on my tail the past week pulling me over twice for having a headlight burned out and then finally on Monday got pulled over for speeding. It was rough. I really didn't think I was even going THAT fast, and his car wasn't even marked! But whatev. Guess it was meant to be. HAHA

One more week and I will be going down to Provo to throw Sarah's bridal shower! I am super excited!

Eclipse

Here is a picture FINALLY from when we went and saw ECLIPSE! It was so much fun! The three of us have seen all three midnight premieres together and I can't wait till Breaking Dawn! I loved the movie. Yes, they are super cheesy, but they still have a special place in my heart. :) I have to leave right now to go up to Island Park for the weekend! Going on a trip with my branch to have fun, raft down the river, and eat steak! Have a good one!

Life as We Know It

First of all, HAPPY 4TH OF JULY! What a crazy yet relaxing yet tiring yet fun weekend! Haha Also, I found those pictures I was telling you about last time! They just magically appeared back in my phone! I don't know what happened last time. Maybe you all weren't meant to see them yet. You had to prepare yourself for what is about to happen next.......here they are....My weekend was good! All last week we worked on our float for the parade. It took a lot of time, a lot of work, a lot of patience, but it all worked out and it was awesome. We had to be at school at 4am yesterday. Friday night I made the choice to not go to sleep at all. It was kind of stupid, but totally worth it cause I had a blast with my friends! We went out to eat and then went to these caves just outside of town. They are so cool! We played glow in the dark hide and go seek down there. That is where you open a bunch of glow sticks and spray the insides all over yourselves and all over the rocks and walls in the cave. Then you turn off your flashlights and go for it! If you lay down on the rocks or stand against the walls, the person who is it has a hard time seeing you and can't tell if you are a rock or a person! It was sweet! We then went back to our friend Casey's house and watched a movie. I was so tired and fell asleep for a second but then was awake and alert until I had to be at school! Our float was Super Hero themed, my group was in charge of Wonder Woman. Here are the pics from that day. The first one is everyone in the school trying to get everything ready. Had to do the makeup and hair of all of our models! It was out of control!

The parade was over at about 12:30pm, and I had to go to work right after that. So I worked until 7, ate a burger and then CRASHED! I had absolutely no energy. So I decided to skip out on the fireworks, took a Tylenol PM and went to bed. And today I feel like it was definitely the better choice. I feel a lot better today.

More exciting news, I am being moved up to Senior class at school in a couple weeks! I have only been there 11 weeks and already being moved up! Usually it doesn't happen till you have at least 900 hours! I only have like 300 something, but the owner said I will do just fine and wants to move me, so I guess I should take that as a compliment right?? :) I am super excited.

Ummm.....can't really think of anything else worth writing about...........OH! I am going to be an aunt again!!!!!!! Bethany is pregnant again!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited for them! Congratulations Beth and Doug! I might just have to move down to Vegas and help you out with all your little babies. :) Well, happy 4th guys! Gotta go get ready to go to a BBQ!
